i want to set some record to my database this code will create database and table successfully and in function "addel" it will set a record to database successfully but it give "Segmentation fault (core dumped) " error when it want ro return from "addel" to main ... any one can help ?

What is the output of the program? Which statement crashes? –  CL. Apr 7 '14 at 7:59
    
output is a "12.db" file. but when program want to return from function "addel" to main , program have crash , with this error : "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" –  user3488563 Apr 7 '14 at 8:27
    
So nothing is output to the screen? And you don't know which line crashes? –  CL. Apr 7 '14 at 9:08
    
yes , i have nothing output in stdout , i think program crash when want to deallocate memory when it want to return from function "addel" to main ! –  user3488563 Apr 8 '14 at 5:13

You have to book space for cm. sprintf writes a buffer

char *cm 

only creates a pointer but don't reserve space.

char cm[100]

booking site where sprintf can write 100 characters, change 100 for desired space.
