I got error with receiving rtsp stream from IPCam Edimax IC-3030 and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me or show me a way to solution ?

  • I see serveral errors in the output. First it doesn't seem to be able to connect to your PulseAudio server - check if it is running ps ax|grep -i pulse ffmpeg also doesn't seem to know the size of your video - use -s WxH to specify that.

  • its looks like pulseaudio working... also -s is deprecated and -video_size is not found;( Apr 7, 2014 at 9:44
  • The pulse-audio problem could be because you're root. Try video/audio things as normal user that has the X-Server session.

When you meet such error You should try to force ffmpeg to use only TCP connection - I believe that when switching from UDP to TCP ffmpeg tried to pause stream what may not be supported by IPCam like Edimax IC 3030 .
