Please help me this program should send files via sockets, but it shows the error segmentation fault when I run it. The server uses thread to implement multiple clients. Thanks! It's my final project!!

Where is the Seg Fault? Did you try using GDB? –  John Apr 22 at 4:07

if bytesReceived < 0 you should not go on to fwrite. –  Matt McNabb Apr 22 at 4:38
    
Closely read the man-pages for recv()/send() and learn that those two functions do not necessarily receive/send as much bytes as they were told to, but few. So looping around such calls counting until all data expected had been received/sent is a good idea, not to say an essential necessity. –  alk Apr 22 at 8:11

I run this code with gdb following are the back trace... got sigpipe

In your server code you open your file continuously in while....loop. is it for any purpose?

Change

new_sock = malloc(1);

for

new_sock = malloc(sizeof(*new_sock));

And make sure that in connection_handler function, when you try to open the file, you really do it. (fpIn > 0) Otherwise, you should break the while.
