I have this code.... Wanna put a marker on the actual latitud and longitude. First I want to show the map and the location on a toast, later is piece of cake to get those variables to a marker....Brings me an error: "JavaNullPointer Exception"... and the map is null when I debug it.

Try to change this:

class="com.google.android.gms.maps.MapFragment" 

to this class:

class="com.google.android.gms.maps.SupportMapFragment"  

because you are using SupportMapFragment class to retrieve the fragment.
