Hello i want to know what the function code to stop this slider http://jsfiddle.net/DLz92/1 it has an infinite loop, I want to stop in 6 seconds

Here's a quick way to address this issue. First, add a duration variable!

// Add a duration variable here
var slideshows = function(){
    var timeouts = {},
        imgs,
        duration;

    /* continue with code */

In your animateSlideshow callback, check for duration and end your loop (by returning) when 6 seconds have passed:

var animateSlideshow = function(current) {     
    if (duration === undefined) {
        duration = Date.now();   
    }

    if ((Date.now() - duration) > 6000) {
        return;   
    }

    /* continue with code */
