I am trying to change color of destination waypoint to green from red. Currently following the code from example:

Google waypoints

I googled, but could not find answer.

I'm afraid you can't.

What you can do is pass the google.maps.DirectionsRenderer an options object to disable markers altogether

var DirectionsRenderer= new google.maps.DirectionsRenderer({map:map, suppressMarkers: true});

and then add your custom markers yourself using the location of the origin and destination that you passed to the google.maps.DirectionsService instance.

Thank you for the reply. But adding waypoint gives address of marker in infowindow automatically and it does not seem possible easily with the suggested approach. – Piyush Arora Jul 9 '14 at 12:38
    
possible yes. Not easy, though. You would need to do a reverse geocoding on both positions to get an address match, declare click event for your markers, and on each instance an infowindow object to display the matching address. – amenadiel Jul 9 '14 at 12:41

Better option: disable the markers (with {suppressMarkers:true}), then parse the directions response to put your custom markers at the start and end locations. – geocodezip Jul 9 '14 at 12:44
