I have implemented a method to capture OpenGLES content exactly as follows as documented in Apple's QA1704:

but I am getting an EXC_BAD_ACCESS exactly at the glReadPixels method call but not every time let's say (1:20) with iOS Simulator and (1:50) with the iPad. The backtrace is as follows:

Can anyone help me to get rid of this problem? or are there any better way to achieve that?

NB: I have already referred tow or three SO questions and they didn't help me a lot.
