This is a follow-up question after my Where can I download "GDI_CapturingAnImage.h"? was partly answered, but I still got a lot of other bugs in the code.

I don't understand why this program can't run. I can compile it without errors, but I only get an error when running the application. Debugger simply says The program '[7588] Screenshot.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).:

You have invalid HWND, because you create window, before register window class.

I recommeded read some books about Windows programming. Also If you run this under the debugger, you see this.

Remove CreateWindow from WinMain, because, you already call CreateWindow in InitInstance. –  Xearinox Jul 20 '14 at 11:29
    
You can't just remove hWnd = CreateWindow from _tWinMain() without changing CaptureAnImage(hWnd); as well. Otherwise you will get error C2065: 'hWnd' : undeclared identifier. So how would you change the CaptureAnImage(hWnd); line? –  OKataria Jul 20 '14 at 11:40
