I have encountered following problem:

I'm trying to find shortest way from point A to point B, therefore I need to number fields in it. I mean, if A fields value is 0 (start), than all fields on it top, bottom, right and left (but not diagonals, because I just don't want to) value should be 1. I wanted to use recursion to manage this task, but I failed. My map looks like:

Here is the main code, some things I did here are just bad attempts to resolve this problem, like finals ifs.
