I tried to solve this problem with PETSc. I loaded data on processor with rank zero and I want to distribute this data on global grid.

Here is the code I am using that doesn't work.

VecAssemblyEnd( test );


DMCreateLocalVector(  da, &vlocal );
DMCreateGlobalVector( da, &vglobal );

if( rank == root )
    DMDAGetScatter( da, &gtol, NULL );
