I have this query:

    SELECT
                (SELECT CM.COD_USER_COMPANY FROM GCCOM_COMPANY CM WHERE SS.ID_SELLER = CM.ID_COMPANY ) AS SOCIEDAD,
                (SELECT CM.COD_USER_COMPANY FROM GCCOM_COMPANY CM WHERE SS.ID_DISTRIBUTER = CM.ID_COMPANY) AS DISTRIBUIDORA
    FROM  GCCOM_SECTOR_SUPPLY SS
                INNER JOIN GCCOM_COMPANY COM ON COM.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_SELLER OR COM.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_DISTRIBUTER
    WHERE 3000000 = (SELECT COM.ID_COMPANY FROM GCCOM_COMPANY COM WHERE COM.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_SELLER)

Which I have tuned to be optimal, like this:

    SELECT
                COM_S.COD_USER_COMPANY AS SOCIEDAD
                COM_D.COD_USER_COMPANY AS DISTRIBUIDORA
    FROM  GCCOM_SECTOR_SUPPLY SS
                INNER JOIN GCCOM_COMPANY COM ON COM.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_SELLER OR COM.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_DISTRIBUTER
                LEFT OUTER JOIN GCCOM_COMPANY COM_S ON COM_S.ID_COMPANY = SS.ID_SELLER

Both queries return the same number of rows.

Is it the only way to remove subqueries and in consequence optime the query ?

3 joins against the same table, doesn't look like right, does it ?

Any suggestion ?

Both queries return the same number of rows.

Is it the only way to remove subqueries and in consequence optime the query ?

3 joins against the same table, doesn't look like right, does it ?

Any ideas ?

What is the question? Are you asking whether these two queries are equivalent? Are you asking how to optimize one or the other query? If so, you'll need to include things like the query plan, table definitions, actual cardinalities, available indexes, etc. –  Justin Cave Aug 11 '14 at 7:55
