I have two tables in a relationship one to one:

Users:

I try persist this, but i have errors:

When i try persist i get this error:

userRole.setUser(user); userRoleService.createUserRole(userRole); saves good but when i try ua.setUser(user); userAccountService.createUserAccount(ua); I get detached entity

It is really bad practice to have your primary key be foreign key at the same time. Especially when you have @GeneratedValue on it.

On closer look, your entities are mapped ok but usersAccounts table needs adjusting. Remove that foreign key constraint from id column, and add new column userId which will be foreign key to users#id. Everything should work after that.

  • I edited my first post. I took advantage of your advice and edited my table in database. But when i try persist i get new error. Entity user is detached. Why? @Predrag Maric Dec 2, 2014 at 16:41
  • Hard to tell without looking at service code. Try to simplify your code, and to persist one User related to one UserAccount. When you succeed, add other parts of code and see what part causes the problem. You should write a unit test for this, it's really hard for someone external to navigate in this code.
