I've been bashing my head at this most of the day and cannot get $scope.weatherData to resolve into anything other than undefined :(

This is my view1 controller:

The location is acquired, an api get request is made to the weather server but $scope.weatherData never gets populated.

    You need return deferred.promise.then(... in your weatherData resolve function and return data.then(... inside that

  • @BenjaminGruenbaum If Phil does not answer it soon, I will throw up an answer. This was mainly a case of being tried and getting lost in the triangle of doom. Once Phil pointed out what I needed to do I realized what I had done and why it wasn't working. Jun 24, 2015 at 22:57
