We are using Entity Framework 6 to operate our database. When we are using EF 6.1.1, it works properly and never encounters any error. Recently, we decide to upgrade our Entity Framework to latest version, 6.1.3. The upgrade is quite easy, but we encounter the following error after upgrading the reference to 6.1.3. Here is the callstack of the exception.

What is the possible problem in our code?

    SqlException: There is already an object named 'Accounts' in the database.. The error was very clear. Can you check any duplicate tables exists. Oct 30, 2015 at 8:18
  • We are using the auto-migration to update our database. When we invoke the DBContext, it seems to try to re-create the database again.

  • If you run Add-Migration it will create differences. followed by Update-Database. If you changed only dll then you need not run these commands again. Oct 30, 2015 at 8:37
  • We just updated the library, but did not run any PS script in the console. The problem still exists.
