Where do i get the ISynchronizeInvoke so i can sync against UI thread?

You also have DispatcherTimer For clean WPF timer msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/… " Reasons for using a DispatcherTimer opposed to a System.Timers.Timer are that the DispatcherTimer runs on the same thread as the Dispatcher" –  Chris Schroeder Aug 1 '10 at 22:55

This may work,
