I wrote this code to copy the contents of file 'vetores' to a matrix of char but I think that there is a problem with the dynamic allocation. Somebody could help me?

What problem do you think you have? Your code has some issues (magic numbers, setting the size of the big array in two different places, pointer arithmetic instead of indexing to name a few), but I see no reason for it to not work. What's your problem with it? –  Rosh Oxymoron Dec 9 '10 at 20:05

You need to allocate an extra byte for each line to hold the terminating 0 byte:

    *(arqvetores + i) = (char*) malloc(strtam*sizeof(char));

should be

    *(arqvetores + i) = (char*) malloc((strtam+1)*sizeof(char));

@adriano: In C, all strings are terminated by a byte containing the value 0 -- that's how you know where the string ends. –  j_random_hacker Dec 9 '10 at 20:42

This kind of irritating problem is handled once and for all using something like strdup(). If your toolchain doesn't have it (since it's not standard), get one of your own here: snipplr.com/view/16919/strdup –  Michael Burr Dec 9 '10 at 22:19
