I'm using jQuery to transpose guitar chords on my website, but for some reason it is not working in internet explorer, but is for every other browser. Please help.

I'm running IE9b1 and Chrome - works on Chrome, but not on IE9b1. Do you get an error message or anything? I'm assuming when you say it doesn't work, the chord selection list shows up, but nothing happens when you click another chord. Is that correct? –  David Hoerster Jan 21 '11 at 20:27
    
I use IE9 beta too, but it works fine. I get the list of chords, and the chords in the song below are transposed correctly as I click them. –  GolezTrol Jan 21 '11 at 20:38

Im 99.9999999% sure it's not jQuery. Internet Explorer is a little more picky when it comes to it's JavaScript syntax tolerance. For example, if you have an extra comma in your JS code, Chrome and FireFix may ignore it, while Internet Explorer will crash.

You need to provide us with some code, or at least an error message - or something to help us understand what your issue is.

the this is i never touched the JS code, i only copy and pasted it into the appropriate folder. it came from a a plugin that i downloaded from http://codegavin.com/projects/transposer . but here is the jquery.transposer.js code.
