I have two sound effects assigned to a button. I'm wondering how I can loop back to the first sound effect, after the last one is played.

Ehhmm...

final Button b1 = (Button)findViewById(R.id.Button1);
b1.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() {
    int currentSound = 0;
    public void onClick(View v) {
        mSoundManager.playSound(currentSound, 0);
        currentSound++;
        currentSound %= mSoundmanager.getNumberOfSounds();
    }
});

If I understand your code right, you want to play a different sound each time the button is pressed.

@EboMike How do I apply specific sounds to button 1? Am I suppose to replace "current sound" with the one I want? Ultimately, I'm going to end up with 5 buttons and about 7 sound effects for each one. –  adneal Mar 3 '11 at 0:59
    
What is it that you want? Your example makes it look like you want to cycle through a list of sounds each time the button is pressed, which is what this code does. currentSound is the sound that will be played the first time the button is pressed. –  EboMike Mar 3 '11 at 1:00
    
@EboMike I just can't see how that code tells the button which sound effects to cycle through. Should I make a separate class for each button I have? The sound effects I have above are not all for button 1, only 1 and 6 are. –  adneal Mar 3 '11 at 1:10
