I am running JBoss AS 6 Final on Ubuntu 10.10 i a using Eclipse for J2EE development, I have my MDB on the server, the problem is it sometimes stops working all of a sudden with no apparent reason. What could be the problem ?

To follow up in Michael's comment, please provide the symptoms you observe that indicate the MDB has stalled. Start with: Is the queue filling with messages that are not being processed ? Check the state of the MDB management MBean in JMX-Console. What do you see there ? Go to the jboss.system:type=ServerInfo mbean in JMX-Console and invoke the listThreadDump() operation to see what all the threads are doing. Look for your MDB class name in the output to see which threads are executing on your MDB. What are they doing ? – Nicholas Aug 9 '11 at 13:17
