I'm getting this error from AppEngine while attempting to POST a tweet. I'm thinking my syntax isnt quite right, but I'm at a loss at the moment.

For the life of me I cant seem to send my status arguments to **extra_params in the post function using:

args = {} <br/>
args.update({'status': 'THIS IS MY TWEET'})<br/>
info2 = client.post('/statuses/update',args)<br/>

Exact error is:

"File "/base/data/home/apps/kymbatweet/1.350119792863170339/main.py", line 311, in get_signed_body
    __meth.upper(), __url, '&'.join(
AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'upper'"

Any ideas? (code follows)

You're not passing it as extra_params, you're passing it as http_method.

info2 = client.post('/statuses/update', **args)

If you want to pass extra paramaters (keyword parameters) from a dictionary you need to call it like this:

client.post('/path', **args)
