I've been programming for some times with IDE like Visual Studio, and never been using compiler such as gcc.

Recently, I began to explore objective-c and the only way to compile it in Windows is to use a gcc and makefile. I noticed that everytime I compile my solution and there is several sources and headers (i.e. 'm' file and 'h' file), I have this error:

All codes I tried are examples I downloaded, but they come from tutorials that are 'Xcode oriented', so there is no step for me to follow to be able to 'make' my solution.

For now, I'm able to compile solutions that contain only a main.c and a main.h. With that, I can build functional apps that run on Apple devices.

Why is my gcc not considering .h files?

Are you remembering to use #import "YourFile.h" in your source? I'm assuming you are, but since you haven't posted any code, I have no idea. It would also be nice to see what you're putting in the command line for this. –  nil May 29 '11 at 2:31
    
Thanks! Yes, the 'import' are present in the sources. I took the code from a tutorial about openal wrapper, except the 'main.m' part, which of course includes all the others .h files. (The tutorial is for a wrapper, so for the main program, it only gives the line mentionned under my comment in the buttonpressed function.) The problem is that wathever the tutorial I try, the same errors appear. These two types of error are functions not declared and symbols that are not recognized, as if the .h files were absent. –  Léon Pelletier May 29 '11 at 2:51
    
Well Leon, your compilation error occurred in MyOpenAL.m, right? Why don't you post MyOpenAL.m, then? Do you think people lurking in StackOverflow has the superpower to see inside your computer and check the code? –  Yuji May 29 '11 at 2:52
    
Sorry, Yuji, I didn't want to measure any superskill. :) I added the MyOpenAL.m. Which in turn will include MyOpenAL.h, which will include the OpenAL Framework. –  Léon Pelletier May 29 '11 at 3:04
