I have three tables (USER3, GROUP3 and USERANDGROUP3). DB creation query is :

CREATE TABLE USER3 (GUID VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY);

CREATE TABLE GROUP3 (GROUPNAME VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY);

CREATE TABLE USERANDGROUP3 (GUID VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL, GROUPNAME VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL, FOREIGN KEY (GUID) REFERENCES USER3(GUID), FOREIGN KEY (GROUPNAME) REFERENCES GROUP3(GROUPNAME), CONSTRAINT USERIDINGROUP PRIMARY KEY (GUID,GROUPNAME));

The entity class for these three table is :

FOR USER3:

Please note that @Entity annotation is not written in this (Userandgrooup3PK), neither it has entry in persistence.xml.

Now namedquery for User3 and Group3 is working fine. But namedquery for Userandgroup3 is not working. Please help me to figure out the issue. Thanks

@telm no there is no exception in this. The List return by namedquery has size 0. –  user811602 Jun 23 '11 at 6:09
