I have some XML (more than 150 tags).
I need to create additional 50 xml files based on that template, but with another tag values.
So I have generated random data (saved in xls, csv, sql format) and I need fill that values in template and saved with new name. How I can do this? (unix shell script, java, software, etc)

Assuming you are able to use SQL Server - Check out FOR XML

Only as complex as your requirements - try something simple first like SELECT * FROM Customers FOR XML AUTO, TYPE which returns XML Data type, or SELECT * FROM Customers FOR XML AUTO which returns the XML content as a varchar –  BonyT Jul 1 '11 at 14:35

@BonyT, thanks, you show me correct direction, I'm working with db2, so for me answer is:

db2 => EXPORT TO "c:\temp\xml.del" OF DEL XML TO "c:\temp\xml" XMLFILE "xml" MESSAGES "c:\temp\msg.txt" SELECT * FROM TMP.XML_TEMPLATE


where xml.del (all generated XMLs saved in one file c:\temp\xml\tmp_xml2.001.xml - I didn't find method to save XMLs separately)
