I'm not sure if this set of codes will work when I want to read a text from the isolated storage(I'm going to paste everything from the class file just incase I'm missing out anything.):

Correct me if I'm wrong. I know there might be an easier way, but the text is to be shown on another page. And there are more codes to this than it looks. Feel free to ask me to add more if you need it.

I wasn't sure if it throwing an error or something :) So have I got this right? You want to load text from Isolated Storage from one class and use that text in another class? –  keyboardP Jul 4 '11 at 13:56

What is Files? Does it implement an IList (or IEnumerable)? From what I can tell, Files may be similar to a List. Therefore, instead of a Read method, you would access the files just like any other list (e.g. a foreach loop). –  keyboardP Jul 4 '11 at 14:17

It's an ObservableCollection. You can use a foreach loop to go through each item. If you want to make that information available to another class, you could use this method: stackoverflow.com/questions/6554276/… –  keyboardP Jul 4 '11 at 15:02

you're getting the list fine, but you need to make it accessible to other classes. You seem to be using the MVVM model, are you using the MVVM Light toolkit, or doing it on your own? –  keyboardP Jul 5 '11 at 2:29
