I am currently having a problem with adding collision detection through an external class to one of my MovieClips with the class name of Level2Walls. Surprisingly, Flash hasn't detected any errors in my code, so I don't really have any leads for solving the problem. I suspect that the problem is coming from my reference of Level2Walls, which is located in the library, and if that's the case, then I don't know how to solve it...

Edit: Level_2 is also the class name of a MovieClip located in the library. It is the container for the second level of my game, and Level2Walls is the collision object that is nested within the container.

Are you sure there aren't any errors being reported? Because at the top of Class_Main you commented out public var level_1:Level1; but then refer to level_1 a lot later on. –  jhocking Aug 27 '11 at 15:43
    
The level_1 you are referring to is actually the instance name of a MovieClip already on the stage. Sorry for my horrible code syntax... –  Blaze356 Aug 27 '11 at 18:59
