I'm trying unsuccessfully to draw 'P' inside a circle. I'm using DrawingConntext due to performance issues.

This is what I get:

  • UPDATE:

Changing the path is not something I want to get into, is there a way setting it with MARGIN/ STRECH/ TRANSFORM etc. ?

You path for symbol "P" has to be changed to offset a left and top margin so that it will "look" like it is inside the circle. But having said that this looks like a very crude way to draw nested gemometries... Perhaps GeometryDrawing is what you might be looking for .... msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/… –  WPF-it Sep 6 '11 at 8:02

Adding the second bit of "P" thru some TextBlock should help... I wonder .... stackoverflow.com/questions/2190469/… –  WPF-it Sep 6 '11 at 8:32

You can center the "P" in respect to the Circle.

To do this, push a TranslateTransform to the DrawingContext. To get the right X value, use the Width of the Circle / 2.0 and then subtract the Width of "P" / 2.0. The same goes for Y.
