I have an image, on which I used cvFindContours () on- I stored the result in imageContours. I am then trying to find the two biggest contours and display ONLY them. But for some reason its showing way more than 2 contours. What's wrong with my algorithm? Thanks

EDIT: Oh and also, in console, I keep getting the "Error" message, that I programmed below if none of the options are true. Anyone know why?

CV_RETR_EXTERNAL retrieves only the extreme outer contours. For your algorithm you should use CV_RETR_LIST. Try using as max_level for the cvDrawContours function the value 0, as value 1 draws the current contour and all the others that are on the same level with it. Also you can optimize your conditions a lot (it's kind of a mess) and also store the areas in some local variables as to not call cvContourArea so much.
