I have SNMP Class which creates the SNMP packet and then create a UDP socket to send the packet..but when I use this class to send Get Packet then I m not getting any response...i have come to this point that packet is not going to its destination because i used wireshark to check if some traffic is going from udp port 161 but I m not getting any traffic when I debug my program....here is the part of the class that creates the socket:

Who gives you this SNMP class? If it is not a usable library, it may not work as you wished. –  Lex Li Oct 6 '11 at 12:57

Are you sending UDP packets to localhost´╝č then Wireshark cannot capture them by default. This is a well known limitation, wiki.wireshark.org/CaptureSetup/Loopback –  Lex Li Oct 7 '11 at 1:18
    
Yess ..i m sending UDP packet to local host..but the problem is not about capturing of wireshark packet...the problem is that i m not getting Getresponse of my GetRequest packet.. –  user963586 Oct 7 '11 at 9:33
    
Wireshark do capture packets sent to local host by adding route add command in Command prompt..! –  user963586 Oct 7 '11 at 9:34
