So I try to render with octave my mask file:

mask = zeros(sy, sx);
mm = mask(100, 100:200);
count = zeros(10, 1);

    row = fread(fp,  sx, 'uchar');
    for j = 1:sx
        for k = 1:10
            if row(j) == k - 1
                count(k) = count(k) + 1;
            end
        end
    end
    mask(i, :) = row;
end
fclose(fp); 

cc = count

Map_color = zeros(12, 3);

Map_color(1,1) = 1;
Map_color(1,2) = 1;
Map_color(1,3) = 1;

Map_color(2,1) = 25/255;
Map_color(2,2) = 216/255;
Map_color(2,3) = 85/255;

Map_color(3,1) = 153/255;
Map_color(3,2) = 51/255;
Map_color(3,3) = 204/255;

RGB = ind2rgb(mask, Map_color);

figure, imshow( RGB);

return;

But it outputs to me:

octave-3.2.4.exe:3> read_mask()
ss = 1.mask
sx =  1791
sy =  1784
cc =

   1573101
    288864
    503539

error: ind2rgb: first input argument must be an indexed image
error: called from:
error:   C:\Octave\3.2.4_gcc-4.4.0\share\octave\3.2.4\m\image\ind2rgb.m

This code does work with Matlab (tested) but it refuses to work with Octave=( Why and how to fix it?
