It's coded in "rails 2 + mongo_mapper" environment, now I want to convert it to "rails 3 + mongoid". No method name for "set_collection_name" is reported.

Whether functions "send" and "set_collection_name" are appropriate for rails 3 and mongoid environment. Inner classes.

I believe you are looking for store_in :posts or similar.

It's a little different. The function "klass" build a class named "_id.to_s" in addition to persistent a document. I wonder whether the function "store_in" you mentioned equal to it. –  Kevin Hua Oct 16 '11 at 8:16
    
The code you posted seems really odd. I don't know why you are using metaprogramming to define your models, it is likely to result in strange problems like this one. It seems like you should come up with a better data model in which these classes you are defining are actually just instances of a class which can encapsulate the behavior of the objects. At any rate, store_in lets you define the collection name for the class, that will be used for persistence. To define klass as a constant, use Object.const_set(self._id.to_s, klass). You may encounter issues with pluralization? –  Dan Healy Oct 16 '11 at 8:48
