I have some trouble's with keyboard input. I wrote a KeyActionListener, but it works only after I click some button by mouse, for example if I press by mouse 5 and then press keyboard, I'll get symbols pressed by keyboard, but if I press key on keyboard after program is launched I get nothing, help me please.

Here is my code:

Moreover, how could I layout my left and right buttons so, that they will be the same size? My manipulations could get me good result, I still have memory buttons another size then right buttons. Here is an image:

"it works only after I click some button by mouse" Try tabbing a couple of times. The focus might be on that 'tab like' thing at the top of the GUI. –  Andrew Thompson Oct 23 '11 at 17:14

I don't use SWT, so it might be different. 1) In Swing, you'd make a call to requestFocusInWindow() - search the SWT docs. for 'focus'. 2) Ditto SWT layouts (no idea). –  Andrew Thompson Oct 23 '11 at 17:49
