I tried to find a solution with asynchronous DataProvider, but everywhere is bound to a static class, but I need a dynamic binding to different objects.

I tried to use the this solution but my UI still freezes. Anyone can explain why I get this behavior and how do I make UI active. Application XAML file:

I introduced this problem by setting ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll to false. If it was set to true, the asynchronous loading worked as expected. –  Dylan Meador Jul 31 '13 at 18:53

I found a simple solution. Instead of setting DataContext, I added items manually with low priority. UI does not freeze. Goal is achieved.

Decided to leave the data binding instead of forming a list of Items manually. First, display the data in a simple datatemplate(with good speed), Then run in the background changing the template.

But there was a problem: List of sections displayed in the TreeView. And if I choose the section before the end changing patterns for the previous section, the focus in the TreeView back to the previous item (selectedItem). How do I fix this?
