I wrote a program which gets matches between 2 pictures. And this is the code. but if I use BruteForceMatcher> (not flann) it works.

And this error I am getting after running the program

OpenCV Error: Assertion failed (dataset.type() == CvType<T>::type()) in unknown

Can anyone say to me what I am doing wrong?

Your code works just fine on Linux with OpenCV 2.3.1a.

I've had several problems with the C++ OpenCV's interface for Windows. When I have to use Windows, I use the C interface.

thank you, I will try, but this code should work because I found it in Official Site there is only one difference between my code ( in official code they use BruteForceMatcher<L2<float> > matcher, but I am trying to use FlannBasedMatcher matcher;. and I want to know why "flann" is not working, while "brute" is working. Have you any suggestions. but thanks anyway for your attention to my question :) –  haykart Dec 16 '11 at 12:01

I'm telling you this code works on Linux, I've copied, pasted it, compiled it and executed it. It's good! Why it doesn't work on Windows is a mystery. I suggest you to update your OpenCV library to newest possible and try again. If it still doesn't work, there's a bug in the C++ interface for Windows. I would not be surprised if this was the case. If it works on Linux as is, it should work for Windows too. –  karlphillip Dec 16 '11 at 12:05

You said it is works with the BruteForceMatcher but not Flann. I created a minimal example. Could you please run this and tell me, whether you get the same error that you got in your question?
