I'm trying to make an app which gets user location, and guides the user to a certain place on the map. I've got two classes:

What I need is to change this "GeoPoint point2 = new GeoPoint(39639538,-4921875);" for the coordinates which I get from this class:

The problem is that I'm not able to get the coordinates from the second class to the first class.

You can try

Intent i = new Intent();
i.putExtra("points", geoPoints);

in your second class call

Intent i = getIntent();

If your second activity only serves to calculate a coordinate and then return that data, then you should call that activity through startActivityForResult, see this. It let's you "prompt" an activity for a result.

For this problem, Create SINGLETON class for the ComoLlegar.class and make a reference to FixedMyLocationOverlay.class. Now you can access all the objects and you can send values to the First class.

Reference: Write this code in ComoLlegar.class:

public static MapActivity getMapObject() {

    if (mapObject != null) {
        return mapObject;
    return mapObject;


Write this code in Second.class

((ComoLlegar.class) object).method_name(arguments);

Now it works :):)
