Although the long running wcf request is processed successfully, client doesn' t get any response. But if the same wcf request is processed in a shorter time, client gets response. I'm sure that the service request is processed successfully and no error is logged.

Wcf' s receive, send, open and close timeouts values are TimeSpan.MaxValue. Wcf service hosted on IIS 7.0 and using net.tcp binding.

Do you have any ideas about this strange behavior?

EDIT: I got traces. I found that there is an exception detailed below. But I still don' t know the root cause? Can anybody help me?

If your execution is taking 50 minutes you should seriously consider asynchronous calls and some polling mechanism. It's in general not a good practice to have connection open for 50 minutes –  user978511 Dec 23 '11 at 7:35
