I've been trying to do the android dev-guide on OPENGLES20, but when I run the code, I get only the background color drawn, and not the triangle (I'm done until the stretched triangle photo).

How can I get the triangle to show up? (Running the app on Android 2.2 device)

I think you haven't followed the tutorial 100% properly. E.g in onSurfaceCreated(...) you call loadShader(GLES20.GL_VERTEX_SHADER..) twice while the latter one should be loadShader(GLES20.GL_FRAGMENT_SHADER..). –  harism Dec 29 '11 at 20:37

I think you haven't followed the tutorial 100% properly. E.g in onSurfaceCreated(...) you call loadShader(GLES20.GL_VERTEX_SHADER..) twice while the latter one should be loadShader(GLES20.GL_FRAGMENT_SHADER..).
