I'm attempting to write JSON files for FLOT charting, and I'm nearly successful!! (well, with some exceptions :-). I need the data to spit out in this format:

{
    "label": "ServiceOne",
    "data": [[164, 35], [200, 35], 204, 35], [192, 84], [140, 54], [300, 66], [155, 110], [108, 101], [200, 94], [223, 99]]
}

Instead, I get this:

{
  "label:ServiceOne": [
    "data:",
    "[164, 35]"
  ]
}

The formatting is obviously wrong, and it's only picking up the first values in the resultset.

Below is the code I'm working with. I know where the problem is, I just can't seem to fix it (I've tried several iterations of looping through the resultset). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Any particular reason why you're using a JsonWriter directly instead of a more convenient API? –  millimoose Feb 5 '12 at 23:27
    
I'm new to JSON and it seems easy to use. Feel free to recommend whatever you think may be better, as long as I can achieve the same result. –  mynameisneo Feb 5 '12 at 23:33

Try this.

                            jsonWriter.WriteValue(currentcount + ", " + currentrating);
                        }
                        jsonWriter.WriteEnd();
                        jsonWriter.WriteEndObject();

jsonWriter.WriteProperty doesn't compile.. doesn't look like an acceptable method. –  mynameisneo Feb 6 '12 at 0:33

Still won't compile.. doesn't look like you can have consecutive WritePropertyName methods. The for loop still doesn't iterate through the entire recordset :-(. My keyboard is full of hair. –  mynameisneo Feb 6 '12 at 0:50
