The output at this post's bottom is produced shortly after cancelling bluetooth discovery within my app.

Can you please help me identify what goes wrong?

I've attached an uncaught exception handler to my app which indicates no exceptions have been thrown, so this crash log is all I have to go on.

The most useful and human-readable lines seem to be:

This indicates a bug in the firmware.

If this is a modded ROM, contact the makers of the mod with this information.

If this is a standard ROM, if you can create a project that reproduces the error, post that and your error information to http://b.android.com, unless you see that there is already an outstanding issue for these symptoms.

This happens on several phone models you see. I believe two are running Android 2.1 and one is running Android 2.3 . Any further info you can give would be much appreciated. –  KomodoDave Feb 11 '12 at 17:33

You said "the firmware", to me that indicates it should be the phone itself rather than Android. I wanted to know the specificity of your answer. –  KomodoDave Feb 11 '12 at 17:52
    
@KomodoDave: The phone is mostly glass and plastic, with bits of silicon, copper, and other materials. The fact that you are seeing this on multiple phones does not really change my answer -- I don't know if all of those phones are running, say, CyanogenMod or not, since they are not my phones. If they all run the original firmware from the device manufacturer, then the problem is probably with stock Android, in which case follow the instructions in the last paragraph of my answer. If they all run the same modded ROM, start with the mod maintainers, in case they introduced a bug. –  CommonsWare Feb 11 '12 at 18:06
