Just when i thought i was getting somewhere I hit a wall. I have written an engine that essentially puts a glsurface over a prieview of the device camera, and uses the sensors to re-orientate the glsurface.. The problems is either in my PhoneOrientation Class or the GL View, but my view of the glsurface is oriented completely wrong:
