terminal uart driver without interrupt enabled

uart_out() is the method that gets dispatched and run as a process in my operating system, but after putting or transmitting char A for once, the process gets stalled and no more characters are put out. is there anything i am missing ?

Make sure the handshaking lines on the port are all enabled and set to allow transmission. –  Mark Ransom Feb 25 '12 at 23:20
    
i fpoound out the issue, after the character being written out to the register, i have to give a time delay for the status register to turn back. if i give a time delay i can put characters as needed. –  bicepjai Feb 25 '12 at 23:58
