I tried highp without success. However, I am testing an approach where I do reflected = vec3(inverse(view + mat4(1.0) * 0.01) * vec4(reflected, 0.0));. That is I'm adding a damping factor to the inversion to stabilize it. Results look as expected now. Not sure how bad this hack is though? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. However I am confused of the advantages here as my example "high size" parameters gives more then 2min runtime with this code.

Thanks for a good answer. is it possible to generalize this further such that I can add members to the data structure without adding arguments in the traverse function? This now only supports the two members in this example.

Thanks. I am using option 3. When I go fullscreen it works and covers xmobar. However, i still see the red "active window" border in fullscreen mode. Also when I toggle back I cannot see xmobar anymore. Is there more required to remove the "red border"?

@kqr I am refering to the type of fullscreen you get when you double-click in the video frame. I am running in Xmonad "full" if that is what you mean by single-window mode.

The animation of the arm works properly. The arm itself is just in the wrong place. The offsetMatrix is grabbed for each bone from the ASSIMP import which is documented to be:"offsetMatrix is a transform that transforms from mesh space to bone space in bind pose". I convert it from aiMatrix4x4 to glm::mat4. I am looking at my skinningmatrix at time = 0, and it is not the identity matrix. If I want to compute the bindpose matrix myself I would just grab absoluteMatrix at time 0? Or initialization?

Hmm. I remade the box using a few less subdivisions in blender and made the "shading" in blender "smooth". Now it all looks good.. Not sure I understand why. Anyway, thanks for leading me on the right track and confirming my code!

This make it looks good for the sphere (that is I cannot see anything wrong with it when I move the camera around it), but the artifacts are still there for the box.
