Software Developer

We are looking to grow our team of Software Developers. Working closely with our Product Development Team and UX Specialists, you’ll play a key role in shaping the design and delivery of our core platform.

To do this you'll need:

• A passion for solving problems in complex spaces. Our tech is required to work across huge numbers of devices and websites. Finding solutions that are reliable and scalable can be difficult, but it's what we do!
• An open mind. We’re doing a lot of firsts that don’t always work out first go. We need someone that's open to trying things with us that don’t always work out.
• A great communicator - we want you to ask why, ask for more information and present your own ideas on how things could be better.
• Be open to learning a bunch new things. If you haven't worked in Ad Tech before you’ll be thrown into a world of random acronyms and complex integrations, but don’t worry, we’ll get you up to speed!

You’ll have the support and guidance of a highly skilled team of Developers, UX Specialists, Designers and Mobile Ad industry veterans.

Main duties / responsibilities

• Work with UX and Product Teams to articulate new product features
• Collaborate with the Dev Team in planning sessions
• Design and implementation of new product features
• Automated test design and development
• Review merge requests and provide constructive feedback to other team members
• Develop and maintain documentation for public APIs and user interfaces

Skills / experience

• Bachelor of Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years experience in developing commercial grade software, preferably in a Linux environment
• A solid understanding of JavaScript language features and best practices
• Experience in automated test design and development
• An understanding of the importance of writing good quality, maintainable code
• Working knowledge of revision control and continuous integration tools

Highly Desirable Experience

• Node.js application development
• Experience in at least one client side application framework (e.g. AngularJS, React.js)
• Experience in development for mobile web
