Monsoon Commerce seeks a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer to lead and tackle challenges that will help develop and enhance our desktop and SAAS based products. As a Senior Software Engineer you will also be a willing mentor to your teammates and connected to interesting trends in our industry. You aren’t afraid to dive into legacy code to find and fix problems when needed while building new features for a best-in-class software for the eCommerce marketplace.
Ideal candidates will have deep experience working with C# for apps on the desktop with knowledge of Amazon and eBay APIs as a plus. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll fill a challenging role in a small agile development team utilizing your software development experience to help drive the collaborative development of solutions for our eCommerce customers.
In this position, you will be working on a wide range of problems and environments including desktop applications, integrating with third party services and online marketplaces, RESTful web services that scale and rich client side web applications.
Skills & requirements
- C# development expertise: at least 5 years with several major projects you can tell us about
- A strong OO background – you should be able to describe some common design patterns
- Experience building desktop applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack development
- Experience with SQL server databases
- Exposure to distributed systems
- Proven ability to manage your time and tasks effectively
- Team player who enjoys collaborative work
