Web Developer

We are seeking a success-driven Web Developer to provide support, maintenance, and create new builds for all web based applications.  The ideal person for this position enjoys managing multiple projects, multiple programming languages, and have the ability to rapidly adapt to project changes.  This position invites creativity and idea generation as well as offers the flexibility to experiment with emerging web technologies (we are currently migrating to AWS, as one example). This is a full time, on-site position.

The primary web applications requiring support are ASP.NET based and requires applicant to possess expert level ASP.NET skills.  Secondary applications are open source applications written in PHP and requires applicant to have working knowledge of PHP as well.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Maintains all web based applications to ensure they are functional and up to date.  This includes the company’s main web site, blogs, web integration components, web databases, and internal web applications.
• Creates and maintains data integration components.  Ensures these data integration components are available and functioning properly.
• Writes clear, concise, and complete documentation on all changes to existing applications and new builds.

Technical requirements include:

• Expert level expertise with ASP.NET and C#
• Proficient with PHP.
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL & MySQL)
• Experience with JQuery, Jscript, CSS, AJAX
• Experience with large-scale web sites and applications.
• Experience with version control software (Subversion, Git, etc.)
• Working knowledge of web servers and cloud based computing.
• Working knowledge of web services.
• Working knowledge of DNS, A records, CNAMES, etc.
• Working knowledge of Wordpress and Joomla.
