Senior Software Engineer

As a full stack engineer, you will be working on entire data platform from cloud infrastructure, data pipeline, and analytical apps. You will write code to make the platform fast, scalable, and robust at every level of the stack. We love open source technologies and embrace commercial ones, and you too will leverage both to take rorodata to the next level. We experiment a lot with innovative, out-of-box approaches; you too are encouraged to research new frameworks, technologies, tools and standards and help us make technology choices for our platform.

The Job

• Design and implement highly interactive, visual web based applications
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale
• Write software for machine learning based analytical applications working with data Scientists
• Facilitate best practices, code reviews, architecture and design reviews, and robust testing

• Bachelors in Computer Science with At least 5 years of development experience, or Master in Computer science plus at least 4 years of development experience in full stack web development
• Expert level knowledge in Python. Knowledge of C++, Java is a plus
• Expert level knowledge of HTML5 Web Development Framework in Python, such as Django
• Full lifecycle experience in software development
• Must be able to deploy applications on AWS infrastructure
• Must have good working knowledge of AWS technologies such as Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3
• Familiarity with Machine Learning is a plus, but not required
