Job description
As a member of our R&D team in Paris, you will be responsible for some of our Ruby on Rails (RoR) applications. You will be involved across the whole product lifecycle:
-
Business requirements and functional specifications;
-
Software architecture and technical framework;
-
Development and unit testing;
-
Deployment and maintenance.
You will be able to proactively recommend you own solutions to enhance the overall experience of both our community members and clients.
Ideally, you understand all the technical layers, from User Interface to Infrastructure, from Business Logic to Database management.
Your duties will include:-
Maintain and upgrade the existing RoR applications;

Develop new JavaScript modules;
-
Ensure the quality of the code by writing test and doing code reviews;

Manage and improve deployment of applications.
Skills & requirements
-
3-year experience with the Ruby on Rails framework;
-
HTML5, CSS3, JS (Prototype framework);
-
Knowledge in software architecture (MySQL, Apache, Phusion Passenger, GNU/Linux);

Excellent speaking and writing skills in French and English is a must.
