Intel Gdansk is expanding its research and development team in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning as part of the newly formed Intel’s Artificial Intelligence Products Group (https://newsroom.intel.com/press-kits/artificial-intelligence/).
We are looking for a quick learners to join the team as a Validation Engineer. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, work and collaboration with multi-cultural team across borders in validation, tests automation and optimization of open-source software related to training and execution of deep neural networks.
You will participate in all phases of software development process: designing, developing, debugging, validation and deployment.
Significant aspect of the job is related to tracking state of the art achievements in the machine learning and deep learning fields. You will be encouraged for constant improvement of your skills as a software validation engineer as well as being an expert in the deep learning field.

Skills & requirements
- Bachelor or MSc degree in Software Engineering or related fields
- 1+ years QA/Testing experience
- Proven work experience in Python / Bash
- Proven work experience in using tests automation tools
- Experience in working with hardware and Linux systems
- Ability to learn fast and solve technical issues
- Experience in agile methodologies and understanding of software development lifecycle
- Fluency in English (B2 / C1)
Nice to have:
- ISTQB certificate
- Experience with tools: Jenkins / Docker / Valgrind
- Experience with C++ /MySql / RegEx libraries
- Experience in deep learning: math and data science background
- Familiarity with Caffe, Neon, TensorFlow or other open source Deep Learning frameworks
- Familiarity with common Python libraries: numpy, scipy, pandas, jupyter, etc
