Neural Analytics, Inc., a medical device software startup, is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help develop an innovative, data-driven brain dysfunction diagnostic. This individual will join a small team responsible for data collection, digital signal processing, data mining and machine learning activities within the organization.
Join the development of a software platform for advanced analysis of neurological disorders.
Work with hardware, signal processing and machine learning experts to develop supporting software systems.
Develop data storage, data analysis, filtering, visualization and feature extraction tools to support the data science team.
Perform development and testing tasks in accordance with specifications and test plans.
Adhere to development standards and procedures.
Execute technical projects in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
BS in computer science, electrical engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in Python programming as well as a compiled language such as C++ or Java in an engineering or scientific domain.
Outstanding problem solving skills and reliable execution of complex solutions.
Passion, integrity and commitment to excellence.
Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, user interface and software design.
Software development within a formal quality management system.
Experience with ultrasound, EEG, EKG or similar software.
Familiarity with SQL databases.
