Job description
This is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with latest big data technologies. We are developing high-end music and fashion analytics in SOL RA. At the core of our data analysis pipeline we apply machine learning techniques to hack and reverse engineer analytical platforms of our clients and optimise it for performance and business objectives.
With our data science team and fashion and big data partnerships we are building the industry leading software. Therefore we offer internship where you can apply state-of-art machine learning and big data techniques in a fast pace industry.
Your responsibilities:
- - You will be implementing machine learning algorithms and testing results
- - You will pair program with our machine learning experts
- - You will be working with our proprietary big data warehousing software
- - You will be involved in agile and scrum processes
Skills & requirements
We are looking for students from computer, mathematics, business, informatics and related fields:
- - Excellent statistical intuition and analytical knowledge and creativity
- - Excellent communication skills
- - Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- - proficient in one programming language or more
- - Ability to write efficient SQL
Not a must, but we appreciate the following skills:
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with Scikit-learn, pandas, scipy, numpy and text analysis
- Linux and server automation
