Job Description

We are currently looking for a talented WordPress website developers to join our team. Although we have offices in Pompano Beach, FL, you can work full-time from anywhere in the comfort of your own home (or join us in the office if you prefer, full relocation provided). Mid and senior (and very senior, and very very senior) levels of developers with anywhere from 2 thru 20+ years experience are welcome to apply. Though we do not hire based on specific languages or technologies, this position will primarily utilize WordPress (currently in WP-engine), PHP, and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.). You will serve as the lead developer for the various consumer-facing websites of CentralReach and its partners.

Be comfortable working in a distributed, semi-virtual environment
Be able to take minimal direction from others and provide maximal output for yourself (and others)
Have excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor

You will:

Develop and maintain websites and development environments for various WordPress solutions (currently in WP-engine)
Research and test various plugins and technologies that are necessary for website functionality
Define, implement, and analyze various pages and approaches to product success in the form of A/B split, multivariate, and experimental testing
Communicate and coordinate effectively with other techies and non-techies alike to ensure optimal progress towards our goals

You must:

Have a deep understanding of web development utilizing PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Demonstrate significant knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, including extensive experience creating and customizing themes from scratch
Display working knowledge of the SQL language and/or SQL-based relational database system(s) (i.e. MySql, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
Have a solid command of written and spoken English
